Add replacement passkeys, review activity and sign out other sessions.
Add a replacement
Open Settings, then Security. Choose Add passkey. First verify with an existing passkey; then follow the device prompt to save the new one. The registration permission expires after five minutes and can be used once.
- Keep at least two working passkeys.
- Prefer a backup on a separate device or security key.
- After interrupted registration, check the updated list before starting again.
Remove an old passkey
Register a replacement first. Removing a passkey requires fresh verification, cannot leave fewer than two active passkeys and signs out your other sessions. The current session remains available.
Review sessions
The Security page shows your active sessions and recent security events. Sign out an unfamiliar session after verifying the action. Device names and locations are not inferred. If all passkeys are lost, use reviewed recovery from the sign-in page; two independent reviewers and a 24-hour wait apply. Never reset credentials through the database.
